As I write my first blog for Nightshift, what once seemed like just a dream is finally becoming a reality. With the help of friends, family, and loved ones, I am able to branch out and share creating special moments with the rest of the world.
I got my first major ribbon haul, and couldn’t be more excited or inspired to create some amazing garlands! On a slow Saturday morning, hanging with Scout, I unwrapped and organized all my new supplies. I ordered from my two favorite suppliers; House of Burlap, and May Arts. This haul was a big one, resulting in an amazing inventory. I was able to build a base of the best quality ribbons, in a range of colors and textures. This haul included flowing silk crepes, soft satins, sheers, elegant heirloom thread, all the way to super structured burlap. Along with a large base of neutrals, my inventory includes muted tones to vibrant brights and everything in between. With three orders pending, it won’t be too long before I will need to replenish.
